National Personal Safety Day 2014 (6 October)
National Personal Safety Day, which is organised by Suzy Lamplugh Trust, is an annual event aimed at highlighting some of the simple, practical solutions that everyone can use to help avoid violence and aggression in today’s society. It’s about helping people live safer, more confident lives.
This year’s theme is “Door 2 Door”
The Door 2 Door theme will look at the personal safety issues in your journey from when you leave your door and reach to the door of your destination. This could include leaving your home to going to work or leaving school to get to a youth centre.
